The admission process and the application process was really nice and it was very smooth. The cutoff was a bit high. All over there was no problem in admission processes and any kind of official work.
The curriculum and teaching methods according to me I average and should be improved in some way. More practical understanding and teaching method should be used for teaching students for real life situations.
There are rarely and internship opportunities for students. Students are left with no internship opportunities that they can join to afford their living in the city that is a major concern. The college should provide us with number of internship opportunities.
The number of placements in our college is not as expected. The number of placement should be increased in our colleges and students should be given more opportunity to generate employment and to work with companies in form of internships.
The fees is more than expected and it should be lowered.... Our average fees is above 20000 and mine is 23380 The fees is really higher than many North campus colleges which is also a matter of concern
The overall experience of my college is really nice. There are a number of society that we can participate in for our extra co-curricular activities. The sports faculties also nice and their are many opportunities for students to join and show that talent.
The faculty members and the Teachers are really nice. The teachers are well educated in a good way. The only problem live in the way of speaking and the medium of speaking which is Hindi that should be converted into English.
course curriculum is well designed and covers most of the important topics. It helps in building good basics but I feel more practical exposure and industry related subjects should be added. Exams are held every semester with internals and if you study regularly they are not too difficult to clear.
I'm pursuing Political Science Hons at Miranda House College and it was my first preference. I had interest in this subject from school times and I had always scores well in this subject. Since PSIR is one of the popular and trending optionals for upsc I had opted for this course and it's contemporary nature makes it relevant in day to life too. The exams are held semester wise on 6 months. There is need of improvement in the examination pattern. Instead of giving questions from pyqs only they should ask for some practical and new contemporary questions.
